she was undoubtedly brave.
after what happened to her father and brother, and suffering unrest in her personal life, sacrificing a happy family with husband and kids for a single cause... it is very obvious that the cause of modernising pakistan was too strong in her to deter her from anything... she knew the people of pakistan too well and was prepared for anything. she has chalked out who will take a place in doing what in her party even after she is dead. this clearly cannot be ill-information, but its a much higher risk apetite as if she would have won, it was going to be one of the greatest comebacks and she would keep facing threats..

Brave she had to be, though perhaps a tad higher in current Pakistan , threat is not always a choice for subcontinental leaders. They have to come out in the crowds or risk being labeled elite & aloof.

"she has chalked out who will take a place in doing what in her party even after she is dead"

..that her son will lead the party ? Thats not better than the Gandhi family is it ? & you know if elections are called now, PPP might actually win it on a sympathy vote.
