AI can't calculate properly

By now it is clear that AI large language models are good with words but not numbers & the reasons for that have also been somewhat defined (average & approximation does not work well with exact maths) For example, I wanted to see if our Idli Stand will fit into an electric kettle that our company was offering as a Gift option. From the amazon listing I found the dimensions but not the height. So I sent this prompt to ChatGPT :

"Calculate the height for a one liter volume cylinder that has 18 cm depth and 20 cm width"

Even if the formula is correct, the answer is wrong! more importantly, it says the height of the cylinder is *approximately* 3.18cm :)
